Oregon Ohio Police Division issued the following announcement on Feb 16.
The National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) has declared February 15, 2022, as “National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day” and encourages schools and communities across the nation to recognize the accomplishments of their school resource officers (SROs) that day.
We appreciate the close relationship that we share with the Oregon City School District and Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School and Academy which allows our officers to connect with the youth of our community.
Today we would like to spotlight our dedicated SRO’s: Officer Ted Moore, Officer Jeff Costanzo, Officer Mike O’Connor, Officer Tim McLeod, Officer Sara Shaw, and Officer Mark Potter. We truly appreciate all that they do for our community.
