Sylvania Schools issued the following announcement on Feb 22.
For National Bus Driver Appreciation Week we're recognizing our incredible team of drivers! Beyond picking up students at the bus stop, our drivers may have up to 3 school routes per morning/afternoon, drive transfer students to our high schools, take student teams to competitions, or drive classes to field trips. Their job goes beyond driving students as they also perform important safety checks and clean their buses. When we have a shortage of bus drivers for a day, they oftentimes assist by driving additional routes.
