A Message From Mayor Craig Stough:
The leading news story this past week around the world has been the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This is a very tragic development and our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Ukraine.
At the Sylvania Chamber meeting on March 2, 2022, member Anya Ursu spoke and she shared how this conflict is affecting her family.
Anya is from Ukraine and she owns “Over the Rainbow Kids Consignment” here in Sylvania. Attached is the contact information for Anya and ways you can help Ukraine at this time.
The world is a smaller place today and it is not uncommon to come across people like Anya in our community. I am hopeful that there is a quick resolution to this conflict.
