Whitehouse Fire Department issued the following announcement on Mar 16.
It's that time of year. Burn Ban is in effect. Remember, in the Village, you are not allowed to open burn at all. In the Townships, you must follow the EPA and Department of Natural Resources rules. If the fire emits smokes and we receive complaints, it officially becomes a "nuisance" fire and we will have to extinguish. Check out the attached graphics and links.
