Lucas County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on Mar 25.
On March 25, 2022, the Lucas County Operating Vehicles Intoxicated (OVI) Task Force will conduct two sobriety checkpoints. These checkpoints will be located at 1470 South McCord Road and 10100 Airport Highway, both in Springfield Township. The checkpoints will be in operation during the hours of 8:00 pm thru 2:00 am. The checkpoints will be staffed with officers from the Lucas County OVI Task Force.
The checkpoints will be paid for through the OVI Task Force Grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
