Whitehouse and Waterville Fire Departments would like to Congratulate these four Firefighters on a "Job Well Done!" Recognized at a Waterville City Council meeting last week, this story illustrates the importance of early 911, early Advanced Life Support and early access to a Cardiac Catherization Capable Hospital. Read the Story of Mr. Mazur as published in The Mirror this week. We live in an area with some of the best Advanced Life Support systems in the country and our citizens have an above average survival rate for Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest. This is why many of us do this job; the ability to help someone on their worst day and make a positive difference.
