The Anthony Wayne Junior High chapter of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) was awarded the 2022 National Stand Up Award.
In the FCCLA program, Stand Up, members develop their voice to make a positive impact. Through their projects, members experience character development and improve their critical and creative thinking, interpersonal communication, leadership, practical knowledge, and career preparation.
As the national first place winner, the chapter will receive a $1,000 award and plaque, and will be recognized at the 2022 FCCLA National Leadership Conference, in San Diego, California on June 29 - July 3, 2022.
AWJH's chapter is a satellite program of Penta Career Center and is led by Mrs. KayLynn Schaller, advisor.
