This evening Sheriff Michael Navarre swore in three corrections officers to the status of Deputy Sheriff. Each officer attended the Ohio Basic Peace Officer Academy at Owens and successfully completed the academic and physical requirements. Congratulations to Deputy Sheriff’s Hunter Baum, Matthew Luettke Jr. and David Noonan.
During the course of the swearing in, Sheriff Navarre also present Field Operations Sergeant Melissa Carney with two awards she was unable to receive in December 2021.
The Buckeye State Sheriff’s Award for Distinguished Service and the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office Distinguished Service Award. Congratulations to everyone!
