Today was a very special day for the young women of WLS: The Toledo STEM Goes Red experience gives local middle school girls the opportunity to share in the exciting world of STEM through doing hands-on activities, hearing industry leaders, and engaging their minds in STEM-related activities.
As a science-based organization, the American Heart Association recognizes the need to grow engagement in STEM to make life-saving breakthroughs in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
STEM Goes Red aims to inspire young women and create successful female leaders geared toward innovation, technology, health, and wellness in women - and our students are well on their way! Thank you for this wonderful event!
