What is Hidden in Plain Sight?
Hidden in Plain Sight is a class geared toward parents of pre-teen and teens. This class is an educational experience with discussion on current drug trends and ways that parents can be PROACTIVE and talk to their teens about drug use. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) has identified prevention as being crucial to deterring long term drug misuse and addiction.
What will I learn?
You will learn about many indicators of drug/alcohol use and risky choices that may otherwise be overlooked. Amy Barrett, Executive Director for AWAKE Community Coalition will be hosting this class, along with Sgt. Amanda Bradley of the Whitehouse Police Department.
