We believe that effective leadership in our businesses and communities is as important as ever for the region to succeed. Registration is now open for the 22nd edition of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Leadership & Advocacy. The Institute is designed to build and strengthen our region’s leaders and future advocates. It is the longest-running program of its kind in the state which to date includes an alumni community of nearly 500 leaders.
“I found the Institute helpful in both my professional and personal growth. During our sessions we interacted with influential leaders and gained extensive knowledge of both business and government sectors. I found the Institute valuable in my own professional endeavors and would recommend the program to any individual or organization interested in leadership development,” stated past graduate Andrea Flowers of Palmer Energy.
The program includes 11 class sessions on the issues, requirements and expectations associated with public engagement. Not only do these sessions build a foundation for public engagement, but they also serve as professional development sessions that will benefit any organization. Participants will build their professional network by engaging with expert presenters and other area leaders. New for 2023 will be the development of a collaborative project to address a cohort identified community problem. Participation also includes our Institute Series of sessions on topics of regional importance, and continuing opportunities for alumni following graduation.
Those interested can register for the program and obtain additional information by visiting the Institute webpage. Seating is limited in order to maximize individual engagement, so reserve your spot today.
