State Representative Josh Williams has formally requested the Perrysburg Exempted Village School District Superintendent Tom Hosler to track and report on the immigration status of students attending the high school. This request follows allegations that Anthony Emmanuel Labrador Sierra posed as a 16-year-old student at Perrysburg High School, though he is reportedly a 24-year-old adult.

In his letter, Williams expressed concerns over how an individual could enroll as an unaccompanied minor so easily. He wrote, "I, along with many of my constituents, have serious concerns about how a person could present themselves as an unaccompanied minor and enroll into your school system with so much ease."

Williams emphasized that this incident raised questions about the school's security measures. "This oversight has not only put the student body, faculty, and staff at risk but has also put into question the school’s ability to maintain a level of security that our local community and families can trust in," he stated.

The letter requests information on both the immigration status tracking and details of the school's internal investigation into Sierra's case. Williams concluded by expressing appreciation for Superintendent Hosler's commitment to accountability and asked for a timely response.
