Mady Yackee, former Springfield High School standout, played on Sunday, Feb. 16 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Springfield High School standout Mady Yackee’s current college team, the Toledo Rockets, lost 16-14 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNC Greensboro Spartans.

The game took place at UNCG Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Rockets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 5:30 p.m. at WKU Softball Complex against Western Kentucky Lady Toppers.
