On Friday, April 4, former Springfield High School standout Destiny Ruggiero’s current college team, the Cleveland State Vikings, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Detroit Mercy Titans.

The game took place at Viking Field. This was their first matchup against the Titans this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Viking Field against Detroit Mercy Titans.
