A new proposed bill from Ohio state Reps. Phil Plummer (R-Dayton) and Haraz Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg would place regulations on online marketplaces to protect consumers from purchasing counterfeit or stolen items.

Republican State Sen. Theresa Gavarone last week voted for SB 311, which would limit the power of the governor and the state Department of Health to issue mandatory statewide quarantine orders during health emergencies.
