He will serve as majority whip on Speaker Matt Huffman's leadership team. Williams represents the 44th House District, covering parts of Lucas, Wood, and Ottawa counties.

"It is an honor to serve my constituents of Lucas County once more," said Williams. "I look forward to serving the people of Wood and Ottawa counties with the expansion of my district and I am honored to serve the people of Ohio as a member of leadership in the 136th General Assembly."

During his previous term, Williams sponsored 28 pieces of legislation. His swearing-in took place during Monday's session, marking the start of the 136th General Assembly.
